Booking restrictions
**2 adults minimum per booking**
Group of 6 adults or more, a discount is available. Please note all persons “6 minimum” must be on tour. If the minimum of 6 are not present upon arrival, full price per person will be paid before departure.
Toddlers and infants are free. Our system does not list toddlers and infants under 5 years of age, please contact us after booking and inform us how many will be attending your booked tour.
Children 5-12 years old are flat rate $35.00 per child on all our tours.
All children will need their safety seats installed in our vehicles before departure.
*Rates listed are before booking fees and sales taxes.
**We cannot include any park entrance fees due to Navajo Nation policies.

Tour Duration
Some operators include from and to travel time from outside the Monument Valley Park, this makes it seem like the duration of the tours are longer on their sites. Our tour uses the Monument Valley Park’s route identification, duration of tours may vary due to road conditions, and other factors not anticipated.

Monument Valley Sunrise
Duration: Approx. 3 to 3.5 hours peak – traffic and park events.
See Monument Valley before crowds of people begin to swarm the park. Witness the blazing orange-red light of the sunrise as it begins to cover massive sand dunes, sandstone cliffs, and monoliths, proclaiming the gradual arrival of day.
Current Departure Time: Time fluctuates with solstice, please contact us to double check correct departure times.
**Note** To ensure a tour guide is scheduled, this tour has to be booked 8 hours before start time. If you are trying to book after this time, please email us at: blackwatertrs@gmail.com calls may not be answered when calling late in the day.

Monument Valley Short Tour
Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours to 2 hours peak – traffic and park events.
This is our shortest tour of Monument Valley. Our guides will take you to five fascinating and stunning points of interest, making them ideal for those with limited time to explore another area of the Southwest.

$70 per adult | $35 per child ages 5-12
Monument Valley Back-Country+
Duration: Approx. 2.5 hours to 3 hours peak – Traffic and park events.
A thorough exploration of Monument Valley. With the help of our guides, you will visit the “Back-Country” where you can see the enormous sandstone cliffs and buttes up close as well as spires, arches, and canyons made of natural sandstone, then double back to complete the tour with scenery explored on the short tour.

Monument Valley Sunset
Duration: Approx. 3 hours to 3.5 hours peak – traffic and park events.
When the visitors start to exit and everything seems to settle down for the evening. The setting sun bathes the huge sand dunes, sandstone cliffs, and sandstone monoliths in a fiery orange-red light as the valley starts into another night.

Drones of any kind are not allowed in the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park.
COVID and Common Cold Precautions
Some locals and some of our employees may prefer to wear a mask when on the tour. Recently; COVID, common cold, and flu has increased in the area, please use caution when traveling.
