Tour Routes and Times<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tour times vary across Monument Valley tour companies and listings. Most add time from their location outside the park onto the actual round-trip of the tour. When booking a tour located in the park, the time will be the actual route time identified by the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our tour listings use the Monument Valley Park’s tour identification name for the route used for the tour. The 2.5 Hour Tour Route, named for the approximate time it takes to complete the route without stopping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example: Our tour is posted: 2.5 Hour Tour per the park’s route ID.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some tour companies may post 3.5 hour tours:<\/em> Time to park entrance 30 minutes, time back to start location 30 minutes = 1 hour added to a 2.5 hour tour.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The duration may vary due to; traffic congestion, park activities, roads affected by sandy and or muddy conditions, road maintenance, etc. The guide will usually do their best to make the best of the tour route or routes reserved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monument Valley Sunrise<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

2.5 Hour Tour Route – Duration: Approx. 3 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Departs early in the morning, our guide will take you to the best photo opts that make sand dunes show their true form, with backdrops highlighted by the sunrise. As the valley starts to wake up we leisurely make our way though the \u201cBack-Country\u201d and see if we can catch the rest of Monument Valley in the early light.<\/p>\n<\/div>
